Program Overview: The purpose of this activity is to educate medical professionals on the criteria and guidelines for authorship.

Target Audience: The target audience includes all healthcare professionals such as physicians, nurses, pharmacists, and allied health professionals who want to learn about authorship etiquette.

Phyllis tracks the progress of manuscripts, presentations, and posters pertaining to the ECHO ISPCTN. She maintains contact with writing group leaders and schedules and hosts writing group meetings. As part of the ECHO ISPCTN Publications and Presentation team, Phyllis not only responds to related questions, but she also archives all PPC-related documents and drafts and updates PPC-related policies, forms, and appendices. Phyllis studies PPC-related topics including author contribution and lay summaries. She edits study- related documents as needed and attends training on ISPCTN-related topics and professional development in writing and editing. Other important duties for the DCOC are serving on the task force to plan network events and taking minutes at scheduled Steering Committee and Leadership meetings.

Credit Designation Statements
AMA Credit Designation Statement
The University of Arkansas for Medical Sciences designates this enduring material activity for a maximum of .75 AMA PRA Category 1 CreditsTM. Physicians should claim only the credit commensurate with the extent of their participation in the activity.
ACPE Credit Designation Statement
These knowledge-based activities will provide pharmacists with up to .75 contact hour or 1 CEU. CE credit information, based on participation and completion of the program evaluation, will be provided to NABP within 60 days after the activity completion.
ANCC Credit Designation Statement
The University of Arkansas for Medical Sciences designates this enduring material activity for a maximum of .75 ANCC contact hours. Nursing contact hours will be awarded for successful completion of program components based upon documented attendance and completion of evaluation materials.
AAPA Credit Designation Statement
The University of Arkansas for Medical Sciences has been authorized by the American Academy of PAs (AAPA) to award AAPA Category .75 CME credit for activities planned in accordance with AAPA CME Criteria. This activity is designated for 1 AAPA Category 1 CME credits. PAs should only claim credit commensurate with the extent of their participation.
