Dr. Adams is a distinguished professor at the University of Arkansas, where he contributes significantly to his field of expertise. He holds a leadership role in research and education, with a strong focus on interdisciplinary collaboration. His research background that spans in social and behavioral sciences, integrating natural and technical sciences. Dr. Adams is proficient in both quantitative and qualitative research methods, with a particular focus on research integrity and misconduct. His interdisciplinary approach enables him to tackle complex research challenges and contribute to the advancement of knowledge in his field.

 

 

 

 

Dr. Jerry Ware’s laboratory studies fundamental aspects of platelet biology to elucidate their role in vascular disease. His interests in hematologic disorders began with a fellowship at the University of North Carolina, Chapel Hill. From there, he spent the next 17 years at The Scripps Research Institute in La Jolla, CA. He joined UAMS in 2004 as a Professor in the Department of Physiology & Biophysics. Dr. Ware has published over 150 articles and reviews on many aspects of vascular biology but primarily focusing on hemostasis and thrombosis. He has served as a grant reviewer for the National Institutes of Health for more than 30 years and is Co-director of the Hematology-Oncology module for freshman medical students. His current research efforts focus on the interplay of inflammation, thrombosis, and cancer.

 

 

 

 

Dr. Lee is highly regarded for her work in the design and analysis of clinical trials of new and innovative medical treatments, particularly in the field of oncology. She received her doctorate in biostatistics from Johns Hopkins University and held positions at the Washington University School of Medicine in St. Louis.

 

 

 

 

Jon Blevins, Ph.D., is a respected faculty member at the University of Arkansas for Medical Sciences (UAMS). He is a seasoned researcher with a deep commitment to advancing medical science and education. Dr. Blevins has made significant contributions to his field through his research, particularly in the area of pathogens. His work is characterized by a strong focus on Pathogenesis and transmission of Lyme disease and relapsing fever Borrelia , and he is highly regarded for his innovative approaches and dedication to scientific excellence.

At UAMS, Dr. Blevins plays a key role in mentoring the next generation of scientists and health professionals. He is actively involved in both teaching and research, fostering an environment of collaboration and discovery. His research has been widely published and recognized in the academic community, and he continues to push the boundaries of knowledge in his area of expertise.
